Audio Video Stack plays video as well as audio, supporting all popular formats
The built-in fallback mechanism is powered by Flowplayer and Cortado. Flowplayer uses the Flash plugin and plays h.264, mp3, flv and mp4. Cortado is a Java applet that plays Ogg video and audio (ogv, oga).
